I like the 5 series wagon, especially with the twin turbos driving all the wheels, but $23,500USD?

Only 55k miles? Must have spent a long time in the shop...

Only one photo? Crackpipe for that alone.

Yeah, and BaT wouldn’t even list that because two pedals.

Wow, you found a good wagon on CL? You’re already way ahead of most of us :)

Run-on sentence of countless standard features and some options, one over-exposed photo, insane price...
Very nice.

Nope, they have before. Not even a one time occurrence.

How bout that. Price seems right on the first one

Listing all the features out like that usually raises flags for me that it is being sold by a dealer pretending to be a private party.
sm70- why not Duesenberg?

They have, and they are.

Yeah, I’d expect a private party to be able to afford bullet points.

Hey now, 40% of the wagons on Boston CL are wagons by my reckoning:

Holy crap! Even if I search specifically for “Wagon” on any CL down south, I get mostly Kia Souls and the occasional Dodge Powerwagon pickup. Then one out of 50 responses is a 250k-mile early 2000s Volvo at a Buy Here Pay Here dealer. Or a TDI Jetta that nobody can offload. I’m not ignoring Subaru here, there’s just so many they all run together, and they’re all overpriced. They’re like the background wallpaper of the wagon world.
A little exaggerating, but it’s pretty safe to say that any decent-looking late model Audi Allroad or E350
(if you can find one) has something really sketchy about it. But you won’t know until you’re there.

It would probably be a bit better if I restricted it to private seller, but yeah, total garbage.

That is more egregious than putting the wrong type of transmission in the ad

Bet you it leaks oil. And if it doesn’t its leaking around the oil filter gasket and getting spun off by the belt. Easiest way to tell is if the aux belt is squishy. And its possible for that belt to be eaten and blocks the oil pump.

I have that motor in my E90, and am quite familiar with the oil filter housing gasket of which you speak.

Is there any mention of $10,000 in cash in the trunk? That would make it a decent deal I’d think.
